Adding links to an article

Arena provides two kinds of links: internal to other pages on the site, and external to URL:s outside the site.

Internal links

With internal links you may connect to related articles, enable users to navigate easily through the range of information available, and reduce the amount of duplicated content.

1. Open the article in which you want to add the link.
2. Highlight the part of the text which you want to link.
3. Click the Insert/Edit link icon . The Insert/edit link dialog opens.
   
   
    
4. Type the name of the page to which you want to link, for example, welcome (no / or other characters) to link to the start page.
5. In the Target drop-down, select how you want to open the linked page.
6. In the Title field, type the text you want to present when you hoover the mouse over the link text.
7. Click Insert.

External links

1. Open the article in which you want to add the link.
2. Highlight the part of the text which you want to link.
3. Click the Insert/Edit link icon . The Insert/edit link dialog opens.
   
   
    
4. Type the address of the website to which you want the link to go in the Link URL field. For example, type http://www.axiell.com.
5. In the Target drop-down, select how you want to open the linked page.
6. In the Title field, type the text you want to present when you hoover the mouse over the link text.
7. Click Insert.
